CADAC CONSOLES APPOINTS AURA AUDIO AS FINNISH DISTRIBUTOR AT ISE

The UK digital console manufacturer reports heavy traffic and high quality visitors on its booth.

Cadac Consoles signed an agreement with Aura Audio on its booth at Integrated Systems Europe for distribution in Finland of its CM-Series audio mix system, centred around the CM-J50 digital console.

“We have had very heavy visitor traffic through the booth, principally from potential global distributors,” said Cadac Consoles’ Director of Marketing and Business Operations, James Godbehear at the end of day four; having finalised the agreement for Finland with Mika Isotalo, Managing Director and Sales at Aura Audio, on the second day of the show. “Aura Audio is the perfect partner for Cadac Consoles, with both companies sharing an ‘audio first ideology’ and being unequivocally performance led.”

Commenting at the time of signing, Isotalo stated, “The CM-J50’s transparency and seamless summing at all busses really turned our heads. Plus, the added benefits of a compact, lightweight form factor and the feature rich SR remote racks, make Cadac a compelling proposition.” Adding, “UK manufacturing and support is a big bonus for us in Europe.”

With this partnership, Aura Audio joins Cadac Consoles’ expanding European distribution network, alongside existing partners Tommex in Poland and Audio Network Technology in Italy, both of whom signed agreements at ISE last year; the transition to UK manufacturing temporarily delaying further distribution expansion until production came on-line.

Throughout the show, Godbehear reported a steady stream of high-quality industry professionals checking out the first UK production samples of the CM-J50 console debuting the latest V2.0 software. Audio on the booth was distributed via the new CM-RT12 optical MegaCOMMS network router, while the company also previewed the CM-DF64 optical Dante bridge and iOS CM-Monitor App.

“An overwhelmingly positive response to UK manufacturing, combined with continued advances in the CM-J50, has sparked a surge of interest from international markets at this year’s exhibition,” said Godbehear. “Previewing the CM-RT12 router has significantly elevated expectations for the CM system, both in terms of scale and capability. We have undoubtedly built upon on last year’s ISE, emerging from this show in advanced discussions with potential distributors from key territories across Europe, Australasia and the Far East.”
